Behrouz & Andy Chatterley 12" Vinyl Timo Maas Remix

£4.99 - On Sale

"Have you got the one that goes...?" It's a classic question put to DJs the
world over and is usually followed by some indecipherable attempt to
recreate a synth hook that actually tantamounts to a brutal murder of the
tune in question. San Francisco DJ legend Behrouz was on the receiving end
of just such an enquiry from an eager trainspotter on his answer machine
after a gig earlier this year and went way beyond the call of duty in trying
to help the guy out. Having no idea whatsoever which track said trainspotter
meant, he decided he'd literally make the track that went like that by using
the guy's vocal from the answermessage! Teaming up with wonder producer Andy
Chatterley (Buick Project, Skylark, Edison, etc) the result is entitled
'Lost In Translation' and comes accompanied by a rather loud Top Tune alert!

Having battered the original throughout his residency at Space in Ibiza this
summer alongside Danny Tenaglia the track already has a proven record of
working on the dancefloor. As well as getting the attention of Tenaglia,
Timo Maas also became a fan of the original and quickly showed his full
support by asking for the parts and turning out an amazing remix. With the
release of the excellent 'Subtellite' on Cocoon and the forthcoming 'Chinese
Massage' Timo and production partner Santos are on top form with both tracks
getting some heavy A list support from Carl Craig to Sven Vath.

Another obvious fan of the original was our very own Dave Seaman who also
could not resist doing a remix. Once again teaming up with Stel after their
highly successful collaborations on the 'Gobbledygook' single as well as
remixing Funkagenda's 'Breakwater' release the pair have done themselves
proud and add yet more weight to what is already considered a heavyweight
package.

With a DJ tool to tie it all up nicely for those of you who are a bit
adventurous or fancy doing some cheeky edits yourself, all that remains to
be said is we hope you enjoy and look forward to hearing your thoughts and
welcome your support.
